Apples and Nuts Salad

Ingredients

Salad

  • 1 head Lettuce Romaine, raw
  • ½ cup Walnuts English
  • 1 ½ Apples Raw, with skin, diced
  • ¼ cup Sunflower Seeds Kernels, dry roasted, without salt
  • 8 oz Chicken Breast* Boneless, skinless

Dressing

Instructions

  • Cut chicken breast into strips.
  • Place chicken* in skillet and fry using an appropriate amount of olive oil for about four minutes on each side, or until cooked completely.
  • In a bowl add lettuce, chicken*, apple, seeds and walnuts.

Dressing

  • Whisk together Nutrim and 1/4 cup of oil, whisk in salt, then add vinegar. Whisk until smooth.
  • Add dressing on top of salad and mix. 
  • Serve immediately. Enjoy!

  • 1 lb Spinach
  • 1 cup Walnuts chopped
  • 1 cup Apple diced
  • ½ cup Sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup Celery chopped
  • 1 lb Cherry tomatoes

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl and drizzle with one of the Nutrim® salad dressing recipes.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ oz Almonds Toasted
  • 1 ½ oz Walnuts Black, dried
  • 1 oz Raisins
  • 2 oz Oat cereal
  • 1 ½ oz Sunflower Seeds Kernels, dried

Instructions

  • Roast the almonds, walnuts and sunflower seeds if you didn't buy them toasted.
  • Mix all ingredients together and serve as a healthy snack.
